The Organization

The Edmonton Metropolitan Region Board (EMRB) is an organization of 13 member municipalities who work collaboratively to plan the future of the Region. Ensuring regional planning decisions are coordinated to advance responsible growth. The EMRB’s work is primarily focused on land use planning and creating the conditions to enable opportunities for growth - economic development and investment, enhancing quality of life for all citizens and the ensuring the long-term sustainability and prosperity of the Region.

The EMRB exists under a Regulation of the Province of Alberta with a mandate to oversee the development and implementation of a regional Growth Plan, and a Metropolitan Region Servicing and approve Statutory plans through a Regional Evaluation Framework.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Director of Corporate and Stakeholder Relations with accountability to the Executive Assistant (EA) to the CEO, the Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to the Corporate and Stakeholder Relations Branch. Working in concert with the Administrative Support Team, this position is repsonsible for providing overall comprehensive administrative support to the Board and EMRB Administration, and serves as office receptionist.
