EMRB Business Continuity & COVID-19

As we adjust to our new operating reality, the Edmonton Metropolitan Region Board - like many organizations across the Region - has transitioned from in-person meetings to virtual meeting platform to ensure business of the Board can continue.

In accordance with public health measures, virtual meetings for Board, Committee and Task Force meetings will replace in-person meetings until such time when health officials recommend it safe return to business in-person.

EMRB Staff will advise members of the Board, stakeholders and the public of rescheduled meetings as details are available. In order to ensure security within virtual meeting platforms, specific meeting invitations containing login details for our videoconferencing platform will be distributed to participating Board members directly.

Specific meeting agendas, reports and material can be found on our Meetings section of the website.

In accordance with our obligation to ensure public access to EMRB meetings and proceedings, all EMRB Board, Committee and Task Force meetings will also be live streamed on the EMRB YouTube channel. Links to specific YouTube live streams are also posted on emrb.civicweb.net/Portal/

Upcoming Virtual Meetings:
  • Regular Board Meeting - August 13, 2020
The health and safety of our members, staff, stakeholders and our regional community is our highest priority. We will continue to monitor the situation and will communicate with member municipalities on further business continuity measures.

Thank you for your cooperation and patience as we adjust the way we work.
